Since the 1850's , racism has increased sevenfold . Only this last century saw millions murdered in the name of race . Can this increase in racism be ascribed to the teachings of biological evolution ? Well , there are many who say it can and there are many who will be in denial . So , just what did the late leading evolutionist Stephen J Gould conclude on this matter :
