One (of many) evolutionary assumption claims snakes evolved from lizards which gradually lost their legs. But evolutionists are not able to answer , of what "advantage" could it be given for a lizard which had gradually begun to lose its legs, and how natural selection could prefer this creature .The oldest known snakes in the fossil record have no "intermediate form" characteristics, and they are no different from snakes of today . Oldest known snake fossil is Dinilysia, from Upper Cretaceous rocks in South America.
Robert Carroll states concerning this creature :
"shows a fairly advanced stage of evolution of these features [the specialized features of the skull of snakes]
