Two thousand years ago who would have ventured to believe that the prophecies of Jesus Christ's first coming would receive a literal accomplishment .

And in the next verse , written by Mathew , a disciple of Jesus Christ is the historical account of the birth of Jesus Christ some 700 years after Isaiah wrote . Therefore fulfilling literally Isaiah's prophecy .
